DY Patil Sports academy is a result of our Mentor, Dr. Vijay Patil’s ambitious dream project to create a sports academy rivaling the best in the world, with the aim to support the evolution of cricket as well as other sports – tennis, swimming, badminton, etc. in India. The dream has come to fruition – DYPSA has several world-class sporting facilities including a state-of-the-art stadium and an Olympic size swimming pool. DYPSA is dedicated to research, development, and education in a variety of sports, with the aim of creating a center of excellence that will put India on the global stage of competitive sport. That said, amateur sportspersons across all ages are welcome to be a part of our Sports Academy. In addition to the Academy, DYPSA owns two corporate cricket teams and one club cricket team. Every year, we conduct coaching camps for over 200 budding cricketers. DYPSA is a charitable trust registered under the Public Trust Act.

Five-time winner of the Shyamrao Thosar Trophy organized bythe Mumbai cricket Association.
Two-time winner of the Summer Vacation Shield organized by the Mumbai Cricket Association.
Winner of the “Kanga League Knockout and Win”; promoted to ‘C’ division.
Participated in ‘A’ division Times Shield with the DY Patil A Team.
Participated in Times Shield ‘B’ division with the DY Patil B Team, an outstanding achievement in corporate tournaments for the past seven years.
Runners up MCA Corporate Trophy 2007 – 2008.
Three-time runners up of the All India DY Patil Twenty20 Invitational Tournament, held under the guidance of the Mumbai Cricket Association.
Winner of 5th All India DY Patil Twenty20 Invitational Tournament 2009, held under the guidance of the Mumbai Cricket Association.
Runners up of Symbiosis Saheb Trophy held at Pune, under the guidance of the Maharashtra Cricket Association.
